Long story short, my uncle bought a house. Now as always when you buy a house and it is a used house the people before you seem to leave their junk laying around for you to clean up. THUS comes our point of this entry today. My uncle brought an arm full of what he called “junk” to me today and in this pile of junk was enough proof that whoever lived there before him was very weird…or just like horror movies.
And what do we have up first???
For you younger folks out there these things here are called VHS tapes! Now VHS tapes played in this device that was called a VCR. You may want to take notes. Anyway, VHS tapes came out before DVDs. If you only have Blu Ray and don’t know what a DVD is then feel free to go f*** yourself! But the thing is what we have here is a VHS tape of Wes Craven’s New Nightmare (that I already have in DVD form) and 1982′s Amityville II: The Possession that I haven’t seen for YEARS and may actually dust off the VCR and watch. Now that those are out of the way, let’s move on shall we?
Well looky here! It would appear these fine folks have left behind a video game! Half-Life 2 for XBox! But you know what? I don’t even have an Xbox as I am strictly a Nintendo or Playstation man. But lets pop this bad boy open shall we???
Hmmm..these people have pulled the old school switch-a-roo on us! They left the wrong thing inside. And the disc inside is not a video game at all but instead a DVD of The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Too bad considering I already have that one. But moving along!
Now this my friends takes the cake! What we have here appears to be some form of homemade mask! Now I at first glance got the feeling this mask would bring nothing but doom and gloom to me for now being in possession of it for I am sure this mask came from the heart of hell it’s self..or some voodoo master in the deepest darkest part of Africa!
Now written inside the mask was the word “Bagheera”. A word I was sure would lead me to the source of the sure curse I will now be stricken with for having this devilish and demonic looking mask. Of course my Google search tells me the word “Bagheera ” is actually the black-toned Indian Leopard that was a fictional character in Rudyard Kipling’s Mowgli stories in The Jungle Book but I still feel the Wiki has got it wrong this time my friends. So with limited time on my hands before my unavoidable doom I did what any true American would do..
I ran into the bathroom and posed in the mirror with it for pictures!! However when we lay out the facts we have an empty house which had movies of possession and THIS weird mask..Clearly I’m a goner now. It’s been nice knowing you folks!
