“12 Days of Halloween”

Day 8
Can we please put a ban on all things Candy Corn, and replace them with all things Candy Apple? Gooey Carmel apples have easily become a staple in all stuff October, however, let me introduce you to the apple of the next generation. Wait for it…wait for it….the apple of the future is one that is not only dipped in carmel, but also dipped in crumbled up Andes mints. You can thank me later.
Ghostly Gooey Apples

Ingredients:
-1 Tub of pre-packaged Carmel or your favorite carmel recipe
-4 Apples of your choice
-1 Package of Andes Mints, Crumbled
-1 Package of wooden skewers or Popsicle sticks

 -Parchment Paper

Directions:
Wash all apples and remove the stems by twisting until they come off. Insert one end of the skewer through the apple, but not so far that it comes out the other end. Once the apples are assembled, put the crumbled up Andes mints on a dinner plate, and heat the entire package of carmel in a microwave safe bowl until soft and pliable.
Next, hold the apples by the wooden end and turn in the bowl of hot carmel until fully coated. Remove and dip the bottom onto the plate of Andes mints. Place fully assembled apples on parchment paper until they have cooled.
