Sometimes when we have a Top 10 anything here, I just pick what I want to pick. But every once in a while I leave the voting to YOU, the loyal reader. So I asked you to email me your top 10 slashers of the 80s lists, and that you did. The ZDR Point System was in full effect (10 points for a first place vote, 9 points for a 9th place vote ect) and below is the results. But before you read the results, take a look at these stats.

No slasher made after 1986 made the Top 10.
No sequels made the list either. Hardly any sequels even got a single mention.
Half the list is made up of slashers released in either 1980-1981.
Tom Savini worked on 4 of the 10 films.
