Air Collision (2012)
Director: Liz Adams
Where to get it: The Asylum

When a solar storm wipes out the air traffic control system, Air Force One and a passenger jet liner are locked on a collision course in the skies above the midwest.Starring such names as Jordan Ladd, who might we call from Cabin Fever and Grindhouse. As well as the one and only Carl Winslow himself, Reginald VelJohnson. This disaster movie, is sadly just that..in more ways than one.

I had been happy to report that I had actually enjoyed the majority of Asylum movies I had gotten as of late. But I’m afraid our streak of good luck comes to a crashing (pun intended) halt with this movie right here. If you want cookie cutter, typical, and corny, then you have came to the right place with Air Collision. A film that crashed into home video on March 27th. I won’t dare say that all the acting in it is bad. But as for the rest..Well, let’s just all say it’s not very good.

Among the bad things that do jump out at you about this film, the CGI is for sure one of the biggest things. It almost looks cartoony at times. That’s OK when dealing with something like the other recent Asylum movie, Snow White, but just doesn’t capture the same vibe or feeling here in this setting. If you want some mindless fun this one might be a hoot to you. If you want a little more, I’m afraid you’ve came to the wrong place.
