Before Linnea Quigley put the Scream Queen crown on, she took off all her clothes in Auditions. Given an X-rating, this pseudo-documentary follows what happens during the casting process of an erotic film (Fairy Tales II) with one delightful twist—the auditionees aren’t aware they’re being secretly filmed as they willingly perform various sexual acts suggested by the producers. So, you do get yourself a lot of nudity if you are one who digs watching movies for that sorta stuff.

You would be surprises at how entertaining some of these folks who came into auditioning for this movie turns out to be. This isn’t an award winning movie by any means, but it’s a nice look at some of the odd folks who do happen to try to get into the film business and just what they do in order to try to make sure they get in. So while we do get tons of nudity, we do get some very awkward and funny moments that are a bit of a hoot to see acted out on screen. And even more of a hoot when you realize that it’s not scripted and all 100% legit.

Now this is the year 1978 and these people are trying out for an X-rated film. That being the situation, we have tons of nudity and sexual acts that when placed together here seems like it would fit in perfectly with any late night cable skin show. And those fans are mostly the fans that I believe will enjoy this film the most. While compiled of different footage from this audition, it is placed together in a way that does make a film. So in that sense, I think there is some stuff to be seen worth seeing when it comes to this entry from Full Moon’s Grindhouse series
