Well how are we today? Oh life sucks? Good!..I mean, that’s terrible! let’s get on with the odds and ends shall we??
* The Movie Gallery keeps dieing a slow death down here and now things have went from being $7.99 and under to $2.99 and under! To spite having already watched an ungodly amount of movies over the past few days I once again put myself in a bind buying more stuff I have yet to see! Meaning I’m booked up on my movie watching and reviews until probably 2012.
I’m sure some of that should be good..Not too sure about Cabin Fever 2 but I’ll go into it with an open mind.
I also I’d like to point your attention to this…
That is the old cover (and still UK cover) for the great film Babysitter Wanted. I saw that cover today but it didn’t say Babysitter Wanted on it. After feeling as if I was going crazy I tossed the DVD down, ran home, and got on Google where my quest for just what the hell was going on led me to this!
Looks like Johnny from Freddy In Space is already on it and has already solved the mystery..And he did so MONTHS ago. It’s a royalty free art pic that has been used on at least 5 movies and a book. Turns out I’m the last to know again. And Johnny being the cool guy he is hopefully won’t mind me borrowing that pic above. I’m not just ass kissing, he is a cool dude and you should read his blog but I bet you all do already.
* I’m happy to report that the numbers for my site have gone WAY WAY up in the last few months. Time on site, page views, unique hits, and returns are all way better than they have been, not that they were bad before thus why I’m so blown away by it. I guess people still calling into a certain podcast and complaining is the best free publicity a guy like me could ask for huh?
Which for the record if you’re still pissed off about that whole mess a few months back I once again apologize.
* Yesterday I was awarded the “versatile” blog award by both Dollar Bin Horror and The Ringmaster’s Realm. Thanks a lot guys, I really appreciate the props, I really do. However I hope you all understand if I don’t pass those along. Not that I’m trying to be a party pooper or a killjoy, I just would rather not due to all the drama that started over this stuff last time awards were handed out. But again, thank you all so very much.
I also want to take a moment to not only accept the award but thank Jesus, Horrorphilia (new podcast up now), Roger Waters, America’s 51st state Canada, Andre (The Giant) Dumas, and PlentyofFish.com. Without each of you I’d be a boring and lonely man. Also without you I’d still be misspelling Quentin Tarantino’s first name.
