Alyce Kills was a movie that didn’t really suck me in at first. The movie starts with two girls doing dumb stuff while drinking and being overly annoying. Pretty soon tragedy strikes and the movie follows our lead down a path of weird visuals, drugs, and sex. Still, at this point the movie had yet to win me over as I was starting to pan this movie as just another in a long time of straight to video releases. Then, the oddest thing happened. Near the last part of this movie it flips the script and THAT is when things get really interesting.

It is in the last part of this film when things get super crazy and super bloody. The dark humor of things finally start to come to the front of the film and we see just how good of an actress our lead really is. I just wish the movie had been like this all along, but had that been the case would the movie deliver like it does in it’s finale? The film has some rough moments at the start, but if you stick with this one you will be pleased once the credits roll. If you are on the fence about taking a chance with this film I advise you to check it out. You shouldn’t be disappointed.
