A young woman inherits a ranch that is supposedly haunted by a murderous beast called “The Chooper.” Which by the way is the name of another cut of this film you’ll also find on this DVD. I also feel the need to point out this movie was made for only $500.
To be honest and upfront with you. This movie is awful. Nothing much of excitement ever seems to happen and the characters go about their ways in such a fashion you’d probably want to check their pules to insure they are infact human and not some awkward acting mannequins. There is a killer called “The Chopper” and when it pops up it is far more funny than frightening, but we don’t even see enough of that to warrant much of a watch for anyone interested in the stalk and slash ways of most films like this.
The film is on the short side, which is a great thing. You will probably enjoy the shorter version if you enjoy anything at all. The violence is mild, so we don’t even have gore to fall back on. You will probably be as bored watching this movie as our lead acts as she’s on the screen. Still, we do at least get a commentary from Joe Bob Briggs. That may very well be the only worthy reason to purchase this film. If you want a cool old school slasher you won’t find that here. If are looking for blood you won’t find that here either.
