Oh bad things can happen when you try to have a night out with a hooker. Don’t take my word for it, just see it for yourself by watching Cold Eyes of Fear. A movie that is certainly a well-acted film, but a film that depends perhaps a little too much at times on building tension (the slow kind) instead of moving things along a little quicker. We have the lovely Giovanna Ralli to look at, but still she isn’t enough to make us content with the pace.

Unless you read the back before you watch the movie (who does that?), you will enjoy the portion of the movie where we are still trying to put everything together. We know the people here don’t want money, but unless you read the plot or know it going in, trying to figure out what they want is half the fun. It isn’t an action-packed affair, but this is a well-made movie. The HD transfer isn’t an eye-opening transfer by any means, but it works well enough for a film of this age and source.
