Even if you can’t name me a single song by the rock band The Misfits, I bet you recognize this..
That is The Fiend. He is one of the most recognizable logos/mascots in rock music and he has gotten his own NECA 8 Inch Retro Figure now!
While the character has always been associated with the band as far as I know, my research shows that both versions have graced the cover of Misfits albums with the red one showing up on the cover of American Psycho in 1997 and the black one getting a small spot on Project 1950 and being in full force on the very gnarly The Devil’s Rain cover from 2011.
Of course you already know about the image being used for shirts, hats, stickers, watches, and pretty much everything in between. So it is really only right that it now gets a NECA figure.
This creepy figure comes in the form of two versions. You have the black and you have the red. Each one comes with an extra hand that allows it to hold the candles that come with it.
Regardless of who’s came and went in the band, you can’t deny the impact of The Fiend. It is something that deserves its own figure and now you can proudly display it next to you retro style figures of Freddy, Jason, Leatherface, and Ash!
