I hope you don’t mind movies that move at a snail’s pace. And, that is really what holds this movie back, here we have a film that has an interesting plot that builds some mystery behind it. We have a lead that is easy on the eyes and does show us the goods, which is always good. The thing is, things just never get out the gate and running. That makes it hard to really hang in there when the action on the screen hasn’t taken a slight soft-core turn.

The plot isn’t a come of the mill story, which is great. I just wish the film had more kick to it so that it held up things better in order to maintain interest. The film does look very good in this 1080p transfer. I won’t say that anything pops off the screen, but it doesn’t look bad for the source. So if you are in the business of just wanting to build up your Jean Rollin collection then this will be a good investment for you. I don’t think I’d call it one of his strongest efforts however.
