Survival of the Dead pits two feuding Irish clans against hungry “Dead Heads” on a remote island, serving up Romero’s signature gore and social wit with a generous dash of dark humor. It may not eclipse his ’70s classics, but it’s a fun, quirky undead romp worth a watch.
