The evil ways of little people! And, here we have a midget actor who was known in his home country for his children’s show playing an evil pimp-like dwarf! He uses his harmless appearance, regardless of his giant teeth and evil look, to swindle girls into a life of prostitution headed up by his mother. It is all pretty silly, but it soo silly it comes across as hilarious. And as a result it might be one of the more enjoyable for all the wrong reason movies you will find to come out of Europe.

This movie packs a lot of naked women. It packs a lot of sex as well, some forced and some willing. I won’t say we got any real classic by any standards, but it will be well worth a watch for anyone who enjoys stuff that is a bit on the wilder side of cinema. Our “sinful” dwarf really does make this movie. That and the nudity of course. It is a sleazy overload in film fashion and I’d say you may want to check it out if you are into that sort of thing. To sum things up, we got a simple plot, with midgets and sex dashed on top.

The Sister of Ursula (1978) (DVD Review)
Directed By: Enzo Milioni
Starring:  Barbara Magnolfi, Stefania D’Amario, Anna Zinnemann
Rated: UR/Region: 1/1:85/Number of disc: 1

While searching for their estranged mother, two beautiful sisters, Dagmar and Ursula, arrive at a luxurious seaside hotel. At the same time, a mysterious killer starts murdering promiscuous women in the area.

howsthemovie

This movie does pack what appears to be one of the most interesting weapons you’ll ever see! That weapon is of course a big giant..Well, I won’t spoil it. But this is a true giallo film with much more nudity. It also stars Barbara Magnolfi who we’ve seen in many well loved Italian films. I’m not sure if we’d call her a good actor or just hot, but it does work either way, because you can’t have a nasty giallo film without hot women in the mix.

Of course overall this movie doesn’t reach the epic levels of the other well-known giallo films. The movie does lack in a lot of areas, but does build up an alright “who did it” story. It also does have the mysterious murder weapon that makes you chuckle and is good for a pun and a hoot. This movie has its moments, but it does lack in other important areas like overall plot.

Hanna D: The Girl from Vondel Park (1984) (DVD Review)
Directed By: Rino Di Silvestro
Starring:  Ann-Gisel Glass, Donatella Damiani, Tony Serrano
Rated: UR/Region: 1/1:85/Number of disc: 1

Within months of the release of the `sweet-teen-turned-heroin-addict-prostitute’ hit CHRISTIANE F., European producers rushed to copy its shocking plot. But no film aimed lower than this 1984 filth-fest from writer/director `Axel Berger’, a.k.a. Italian SleazeMaster Rino Di Silvestro of WEREWOLF WOMAN and WOMEN IN CELL BLOCK 7 infamy. Dutch schoolgirl Hanna D, (Ann-Gisel Glass) delivers an eye-popping performance that takes her from coy teenage tease to depraved junkie whore, complete with a parade of perversion that includes voyeurism, mutilation, sleazy pimps, cheezy love songs and drunk nude mothers. Karin Schubert (BLACK EMANUELLE) and Tony Lombardo (RATS: NIGHT OF TERROR) co-star in this deliciously sordid saga filmed in Amsterdam, rescued from a bankruptcy auction in Rome, and presented uncut and uncensored for the first time.

howsthemovie

There are a lot of things in this movie. Female pubic hair certainly seems to be one of those things. But the film does give us an interesting plot of a young woman in the middle of all the sex, drugs, and other naughty things this film also has to offer. I think among other things this film just seems bizarre, in both sexual ways and in just overall film presentation ways. It is an odd one, but it stays interesting which helps a lot.

Being a film from Amsterdam you should have a good idea of just what madness we do see on the screen. Our lead is clearly older than she is supposed to be here, yet I think we can look away from that because we really didn’t need a teen doing all of this stuff. As one would think, this wouldn’t be a film that just anyone will enjoy. If you can find yourself in the right mood, however, you might get a kick out of it in the right situation.
