The Haunted Trailer (2012) (Movie Review)
Directed By: Chuck Norfolk
Starring: Ron Jeremy, Joe Grisaffi, Jeremy James Douglas
Two goofy hick brothers (Elvis and Aaron), their crazy redneck Momma and sexy sister (Prissy) must exorcise their mobile home of an ancient demon set free to fulfill the 2012 prophecy, with the help of a low rent TV evangelist named Reverend Wiggems, or the world will end. A Raunchy redneck comedy/horror.
The Haunted Trailer is an over the top raunchy little comedy horror films featuring a lot of Texas based actors you may have seen in other Texas based independent films. We have at the tip of it all porn legend, Ron Jeremy, who is always fun to see and does over the top acts probably better than just about anyone. At heart this is a film that may go a little too far over the goofy line for some, but might hit the spot for fans of such labels as Troma and what you get from them. Things here are never at a point where you should take them too seriously, some might love that and others might not.
We have a few very hot and talented females involved here that all who is into hot and talented women can appreciate. Lauren Leal plays the sister to our two half crazed and child-like male leads and I thought she did a great job. I’m pretty sure we will see more of her down the road. We also have the very cool Roxy Vandiver in a memorable role as well. The thing is about The Haunted Trailer is you have to go into it without expecting anything other just a fun time. Yeah, some jokes can fall flat and you do wish some characters were turned down a notch, but this is a film that needs a round of applause for doing the best it could with what it had and doing pretty well for those sources overall.
