Being a news reporter just has to be a cut throat business, I mean why else would reporters do things like stand out in hurricanes or get locked inside buildings that contain zombie morphing viruses just to get ahead?? Ah well in her defense I suppose that last thing there did kind of catch sharp eye’d reporter Angela Vidal and everyone else off guard. But you know what they always say, curiosity killed the cat..and in this case, the new reporter.
Angela Vidal probably did the best she could have done given her situation in the movie “Quarantine”. All she was suppose to do was tag along with the local fire fighters for the night, who would have guessed what was to come when the squad answers a routine call?
We probably should give the poor woman kudos for even lasting as long as she did, but we all know she only lasted that long do to her trusty camera man and one particularly heroic firefighter..gee you’d think he had once survived a torture room once or something…
None the less, when everyone around you is dead, and your locked inside a infested building with the power out and what must be at least half a dozen zombie-like people running around wanting to tear you to bits, there’s really nothing much one can do besides..well…die. And as far as we all know that’s the very thing that happens to Angela as she’s dragged to her death in the closing moments..I bet that shocks you doesn’t it? I mean after all it wasn’t like the ending was on the cover of the DVD or the only thing used for most of the damn TV adds.
Well one thing you could have done was simple hang back and let the fire department handle this one..but too late now isn’t it Miss Vidal?
