During yesterday’s exciting outpouring of love, I had one comment that stood out to me more so than any of the rest. A comment from the man behind the recently reviewed (and front runner for worst movie of the year) Night of the Living Dead Reanimated. You see, during my review of the film I brought up the fact that watching the movie made me at times want to hang myself with a telephone cord. A common reaction from many who have watched the film I assure you. Well needless to say, I think his feelings were hurt.
You see this “Director” went on to say that maybe his next project would make me succeed in my hanging myself with a cord. And well, if anyone’s work could perhaps make that happen you would be the one based off this mess I watched and reviewed. But hows this for a crazy idea? Instead of worrying about what I say about your movie, how about to focus your attention towards actually making a watchable film next time? See I’ve heard all about you. I’ve heard the stories of the people walking out during screenings, I’ve also heard the stories of how you can’t take the negative feedback. And if you are going to use your time going after everyone who gives this film a negative review, then you my friend will be one hell of a busy person.
Now my review wasn’t all negative, not all together. See, I said you have some very good animation at times but you tossed it on the back burner for the more messy and way too abstract stuff. Had you used less of that and more of the straight up animation you’d have had a much better film than the mess I watched. A movie that wasn’t just hard for people to sit through during screenings, but a film I had a hell of a time sitting through in the comfort of my own home. But you know what? Just to show you I’m a nice guy and all I’ve decided to do a little doodle for you, some “animation” from me to you that I feel is on par with that other crap art you had in your movie.
There, now all you have to do is add in the audio from the great movie you are trying to make money from and you are all set. Who knows, maybe you can think of some more blogs to thank in the credits..that might snag you a couple of actual good reviews..ya never know.
