“12 Days of Halloween”

Day 6

Yeah, food named after baby body parts is probably not the most PC thing I can post on here. However, with a column that has the word “Cannibal” in the title, I don’t think being PC is my top priority. Plus, when you take a bite of these tender, juicy, spicy, and savory drumsticks you’ll have to wonder if baby legs taste this good too.

Maple Flavored Baby Legs

Ingredients:

-1/2 Cup Maple Syrup
-1/2 Cup Chili Sauce
-2 Tablespoon Honey
-4 Tablespoons Fresh Chives, Chopped
-1 Teaspoon Dry Mustard
-1 Teaspoon Garlic
-1 Teaspoon Light Brown Sugar
-1 Teaspoon Thyme
-1/2 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
-6 Chicken Drummettes
Directions:
In a small bowl, mix all ingredients except chicken.Pour half of the mixture into a large zip lock bag and add Chicken. Shake mixture toevenly cover chicken.

Place chicken in a lightly greased baking dish; reserve extrasauce in bowl for later. Heat oven to 375 F and bake chicken uncovered for 45 to55 minutes. Continue to allow to cook the remainder of time oruntil there is no pink tone left to the thickest areas of the chicken.
