Clyde (Brendan Sexton III) travels to an old New York City apartment to care for his traumatized younger cousin, Kate, (Antonella Lentini) after she discovers her roommate dead. He begins to suspect that other tenants were involved after encountering two neighbors (James Russo, Armando Riesco) who have an unusual amount of interest in Kate’s well being. As his exploration into the roommate’s death continues, Clyde’s perception of what is real and imagined begins to blur.

7e is an unusual film if I am to be perfectly honest with all of you. I’m not 100% sure I’d call it MY kind of film, but I do respect its nature and applaud its attempts. If one could say anything nice at all about the film it would be that the acting wasn’t at all bad and made the film what it was, even if in my eyes it wasn’t that much. You do, however, wait for the other foot to drop with this one and it seems later than sooner, but it eventually does.

The whole thing does have a mood, I will give it that. Will that mood be able to win you over in the long run of things? I’m not soo sure on that one, but you are more than welcome to give this indie film a try. Not sure if you’d want to just call this one artistic or weird for the sake of weird, but it was at least a nice try at the end of the day. 7e is a half way interesting concept that I, however, never did think it fully developed.
