R.I.P. Lewis Tice

Since I’ve been running this site I’ve had both the pleasure and displeasure to deal with many different PR people. Lewis Tice will however go down as one of the nicest people I ever had the pleasure of meeting online through this site. I first came across Lewis when I was seeking out where to get a review copy of The Bunny Game. He sent it with no problem and when that disc didn’t work he had no problem sending me another. However, I did something with Lewis that I don’t often do with PR people, I became friends with him. While never having seen in the man in person, Lewis and I spoke to one another often by email and we talked about a number of different things, both films and life. Lewis was one of the people who really seemed interested in the fact I was making a movie and I’m pretty bummed out now that Lewis will never get to see what I made. I heard the sad news today through a tweet from TLA Releasing (Re-Tweeted by TLA Cult) that Lewis had sadly passed away. I don’t have details on what happened, but that isn’t the point. The world has lost one of the nicest people I ever got to interact with and he will certainly be missed. My thoughts are with Lewis and his family/friends.

R.I.P. Lewis.
