Season two of THE WALKING DEAD: WORLD BEYOND concludes the epic story of Iris (Aliyah Royale). Hope (Alexa Mansour), Elton (Nicolas Cantu), and Silas (Hal Cumpston) – four friends who journeyed across the country on a mission that transformed everything they knew about themselves and the world. As they face off against the mysterious Civic Republic Military and fight for control of their own destiny, goals will shift, bonds will form and crumble, and innocence will be both lost and found.
Most shows we watch seem to run a little too long. And some shows every once in a while never get the chance to finish their story. Now I don’t know what caused The Walking Dead: The World Beyond to get only two seasons but I will at least say this, they seemed to get in, tell the story they wanted to tell, and then get out. And I would say with all of The Walking Dead we seem to be getting that this might have been the best idea. I don’t love this show, won’t try to sell you on the idea that I do. But that being said, I do find it interesting enough and I have enjoyed this one enough to finish it off. And am I happy with how it all went down with these characters? Sure! I at least think this will eventually be a part of a bigger picture with all these shows once all is said and done down the line.
So if you want to see what you have missed with this one you might be happy to know that you only have two seasons to worry about and I think that’s enough to properly finish this chapter of the overall Walking Dead story off. It isn’t the best thing you will see, but it packs enough zombie action and drama to keep you popping popcorn and watching until the last episode plays. Now, this is a UK release of this show, but you should be happy to know that it will play in your region A players. So with that being said, I think this is a season worth a watch if you liked the first season.
