From Award Winning Filmmaker James Cullen Bressack (Hate Crime) comes: TO JENNIFER. For the first time in history, the feature film is shot entirely on the iPhone 5. Joey suspects his girlfriend of two years, Jennifer, is cheating on him. He is so convinced that he enlists the help of his cousin, Steven, to create a Video Diary of his journey to catch her in the act as well as to document the heartbreak she is putting him through. In an attempt to make her feel guilty, he intends to give this tape to her after catching her.
And here we have the first film shot entirely on the iPhone! The iPhone 4 I believe. The film is done in the found footage format as we follow a guy who seems to clearly have issues as he is on a road trip to locate his apparent girlfriend who he thinks might be cheating. As the story unfolds we see more and more how dark things in this story might really be and it makes for a very cool time if I do say so myself. The movie manages a bit of a realistic tone due to the way it was filmed and I think anyone who is into the art side of horror will appreciate it.
The movie also seems to be on the shorter side of things, which is good. The movie stays to the point here and we need more movies that do stay to the point. From the films I’ve seen by James Cullen Bressack I’ve noticed he is a very creative man, and this movie just does more to prove that. This is a more reality based horror that comes with a nice build and if you are someone who likes films that drop hints all the while leading up to a good finale you will enjoy this.
