Starring Lulu Wilson, Kevin James, and Joel McHale, this action-packed flick will have you on the edge of your seat. It follows the story of a teenage girl who, after her father’s death, must go on a mission to protect her home from a group of dangerous criminals. In this review, I’ll be discussing the movie’s main characters, its plot, and its overall quality.
I recently watched the 2020 horror thriller movie Becky and I was thoroughly impressed with the intriguing plot. The movie follows a rebellious teenager, Becky, who is sent to her dad’s lake house in the countryside for the summer. Upon arrival, she meets a group of four strangers and discovers a sinister presence lurking in the woods that threatens their lives. What follows is a thrilling and suspenseful journey as Becky attempts to protect her friends from danger. The plot of this movie was really well-crafted and had me hooked from start to finish. It contains unexpected twists and turns that kept me guessing until the end. It is also full of strong themes, including bravery, friendship, and trust. I particularly enjoyed how the story focuses on Becky’s coming-of-age journey as she learns to confront her fears and protect those around her. Overall, I thought the plot was engaging, entertaining, and exciting!

I loved Becky. It was a thrilling ride that kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. My favorite part of the movie was definitely the intense chase scenes. As Becky and her dad attempt to escape from the psychopathic killers, the suspense builds and you can’t help but be completely absorbed in the action. Another great part of this movie was the performances. Lulu Wilson is absolutely fantastic as Becky and she perfectly conveys the fear and courage that her character experiences throughout the movie. Kevin James also gives a memorable performance as her dad. His character arc throughout the movie was inspiring and it made me really root for him. The cinematography was also stunning. The movie takes place in a small rural town, but thanks to the stunning visuals, it felt like I was actually there with them. The lighting and the score added so much tension and atmosphere to each scene that it just pulled me in even more. Overall, I highly recommend Becky. It’s a thrilling ride from start to finish and it features some incredible performances from its cast. It’s definitely worth a watch!
