I Have Returned!

I’m back from a weekend reboot in my hometown—complete with my friends’ questionable Redbox picks like Couples Retreat and the latest Chipmunks—and I can’t wait to jump into the final eight films to die for with our daily updates!

Whisper (2007)

Whisper (2007) drops Lost’s Sawyer (Josh Holloway) and Michael Rooker into a remote cabin to wrangle a disturbingly sinister child, delivering twisted thrills and genuinely creepy fun. Tight camerawork and unexpected twists make it a bite-sized horror feast you won’t soon forget.

Odds and Ends (04/12/10)

I’ve finally upgraded to www.zombiesdontrun.net—snappier, more professional, and eager for your polite feedback—so ditch the anonymous digs and let me know what you think. Stay tuned for my long-awaited Horrorphilia podcast, where you’ll get to hear the “wonderful” voice everyone’s been buzzing about!

Growth (2009)

Growth (2009) hooks you with a slick, sequel-style prologue and gooey worm-infested thrills. Unfortunately, cheesy CGI and forgettable characters keep this body-horror homage from truly delivering the bite you crave.

Lake Mungo (2008)

Lake Mungo is a brilliantly creepy documentary-style ghost story that peels back a family’s secrets in the most unsettling way. Hang on tight—one shockingly haunting moment will stay with you long after the credits roll.
